Quality dental treatment can be extremely expensive in most countries around the world, and while some employers may offer dental coverage to their employees, the coverage limits are usually very low and insufficient for many individual’s needs.

Routine Dental
A routine dental benefit will provide you with coverage for ordinary dental treatments.

Major Dental
A major dental coverage benefit will include coverage for most dental treatments. Examples of some of the benefits are:

• Root Scaling
• Gingivitis treatments
• Bridgework and repairs
• Periondontitis Treatments
• Temporary crowns, including gold and porcelain.
• Membrane treatment

As most individuals will have had some dental treatment prior to enrolling on an international health insurance plan, most dental benefits will cover pre-existing dental conditions. However, as a result of this coverage, there is usually a waiting period attached to the benefit which you will have to complete before making any claims.
