Overall Maximum Benefit

Worldwide Health Options will only advise on international health insurance plans with high levels of cover. Expat health insurance plans that we offer will usually have limits ranging from US$ 1 million to US$ 2 million per policy year. There are generally only 3 policy limits available: Per Year, Lifetime and Per Condition.

A Per Year, or annual limit, will provide coverage on a yearly basis up to the total limit allowed by the policy, regardless of the number of treatments you may be claiming for. A per year limit will refresh upon a policyholder renewing their international medical insurance plan.

A Per Condition Benefit, or limit, will provide the policyholder with cover for a medical condition up to a pre-determined limit. This limit will be imposed per condition on a yearly basis.

A Lifetime limit is the total amount that you are able to claim on the policy over the lifetime of the plan.
